In Regards to Our Latest Announcement

I felt compelled to do a little drawing:

zrpg_reaction

Which is to say – the reactions from folks have been so overwhelmingly positive that Brian and I have been absolutely bowled-over by it.  While we set out to make the games WE want to, damn-the-torpedoes-full-speed-ahead, and hoped that they would be interesting and fun for others, even our fondest dreams didn’t cover something like this.

From the bottom of our jaded game developer hearts, we thank you.  And we will do our honest best to make this an amazing title.

…not like we weren’t gonna before, you know, but now that we know so many people are watching, we felt compelled to emphasize this point.

With great sincerity, we thank you.  Keep watching – neat things will be coming along.

Bah, just wait until you release more details about the gameplay. Or worse, the first screenshots. ;-)

I was running around my office last week squeeing and telling everyone I ran into about DoubleBear and the ZRPG awesomeness. As a full grown adult, this was rather awkward for me.

Great comic, love it! I’ve noticed Oscar has said on the forums that you’re considering switching to Torque 3D – I encourage you to do so. Age of Decadence looks great and I’m looking forward to buying it, but a Zombie RPG needs much more sophisticated lighting model and higher poly characters in order for the visuals to do the whole game potential justice.

  • When I saw your comics for the first time, I thought “yeah, she’s writing script with zombies and sudenly the cumputer sucked her braaain…” Sorry :-) )

I keep my fingers crossed for your zombie RPG, I love RPG genre and zRPG sounds very fresh to me (well, “zombie” doesn’t sound really “fresh” but you know what I mean).

    So, good luck!

Rock on guys! (and girls, but I’m guessing mostly guys)

Can’t wait for the new game!

What happened to the old, outraged looking double-bear cartoon (logo?)? Bring him back in the side bar or something.

Goes to show that indie studios are needed, badly. There’s just no room for awesome, genuine ideas with big money involved.
Eagerly looking forward to each and every update on this. :)

Great news! Can’t wait to see some screenies.

Yes! at last someone is making a zombie game with some thourght behind it. There was a short series on the BBC in the UK called Survivours, you should try to watch it for inspiration. It wasn’t about zombies but it was about the outbreak of a virus which killed most of the population.

First off, I’d like to say props. I’m really excited to see what you guys do, and how you do it.
Secondly, I have a website that may interest you, http://ww2.zombieinitiative.org/.
Some of these guys are a little insane, but maybe you may get some useful info out of them.
And lastly, Good Luck! Can’t wait to see it finished!

  • Подтверждаю. Всё выше сказанное правда. Можем пообщаться на эту тему….
